Action Figures

Early toys and figures from Mego and GI Joe were awesome and came with lots of cool accessories. But they were big and hard to transport. That all changed in the late 1970s when Kenner released their flagship Star Wars series. The modern day 3 3/4" plastic action figure was born. These shrunken down dolls were an instant game changer! Playability suddenly became ultra portable. 50 years later, action figures are still going strong. So let's celebrate the staying power of the pioneers: all hail the action figure!
